I have neglected this blog a bit recently. These pictures and tales from my photographic trips were given a good reception from a large turnout of members from the Dundee Photographic Society who have a strong guest list of visiting speakers including Peter Cairns, Richard Childs and Thomas Joshua Cooper. I haven't addressed a photographic society before, and I was pleased that Dundee was the first because that was where I started out, working for DC Thomsons newspapers.
A selection of prints has also been on display at a group photography exhibition in Edinburgh, at Amber Arts. It continues until November 6 and was the subject of an interesting review in the Spectator.
And of course, I have been out shooting too, making further visits to Quinag and Assynt, exploring the possibilities of the panoramic format; and one or two visits to Nevis for some low autumnal light.
